£1.99 a month
Every delay claimed, however long. No cut of your compensation. Cancel any time: it runs to the end of the month you’ve paid for.
A punctual month brings no compensation; we don't guarantee savings or approval. Supported: singles, returns, weekly, monthly and annual season tickets on direct journeys. Flexi and custom-period seasons, split tickets, contactless and group travel aren't supported yet. For operators other than Southeastern, whose forms aren't connected yet, we prepare the claim and, if we can't send it in time, give you everything you need to send it yourself before the deadline.
Fair questions
Do you take a cut of my compensation?
No. The train company pays you directly, by PayPal, voucher or to a charity you choose. latemate never touches it.
Is it allowed?
Yes. Southeastern’s terms don’t prevent a service claiming on your behalf, and every claim is one you’ve said yes to, for a train you were on.
Couldn’t I just claim myself?
Absolutely, and for free. You can always claim directly from your train operator, for free. latemate is for people who’d rather not notice every delay, find the form and keep receipts.
What do you need from me?
Your regular trains, a photo of your ticket, and your name and address for the claim form. Never your train company login.
Your next late train could pay for the year.
